Fresh, Calming, and Functional

This client was planning to renovate their entire main floor and reached out to Handpicked Interiors for help with their kitchen, laundry room, and both bathrooms.

They wanted guidance on finding the colours and materials that would fit both of their styles and on how to reconfigure their small U-shaped kitchen into something much more functional for a family that loves to cook and entertain.

We completely transformed the kitchen and dining area by combining them into one shared space with an island and attached dining table. This added some much needed extra storage and allows everyone to be in the same space when cooking and socializing.

For the colour palette, we decided on a combination of soft off-white and a muted green with a dark green tile backsplash that really steals the show and ties it altogether. We carried this same colour palette into the laundry room and bathroom to keep everything cohesive and fresh.

This kitchen truly is a show-stopper now.
